About our logo

God's courageous humility draws us toward Him.  This is symbolized in the blue, red, and orange stripes flowing downward toward us.  At some point in life we come to a crossroads where we have no option but the very present mystery that is God.

When our paths cross with God's we begin to know a real peace in this life.  This fills us with a deeper sense of self symbolized in the logo's swelling with The Inner Hue (i.e. Christ in us the hope of glory Col. 1:27).  This is a peace that does not fluctuate (though it may be disturbed) with the circumstances of our lives!

When we gain this sense of Christ within it gives birth to an unshakeable hope (but discouragement will come and go) that begins to move us beyond ourselves (Rom. 8:24). This is symbolized in the tails flowing outward and away from the self toward all others.

In just two weeks of consistent prayer your brain can increase it's capacity for greater connection with others by literally increasing your CAPACITY for empathy in your relationships.  What your body knows about God, Rob Moll

But, it's too easy to allow ourselves simply to be in mission to others.  This helps us feel good about ourselves but can easily lead to our Christianity being about how we feel regarding what we have done.  Discipleship gets personal and life-giving when we allow ourselves to receive the help of others too, to allow ourselves to be known by others and to receive them into our very lives.  The lower right opening of the logo reminds us just as much as we give our lives away that we are to allow others into our lives.  The aim of The Inner Hue is to help people live lives overflowing authentically with peace, hope, and courage.
